Software Engineer Found Dead in Bengaluru Hotel

A 24-year-old software engineer employed at a Bengaluru-based company was found deceased in a hotel room on Tuesday. Authorities suspect the cause of death to be suicide.

The individual has been identified as Yagnik Sujith, originally from Sakleshpur in the Hassan district. Reports indicate that he had recently attended examinations for an M.Tech program on August 16.

The incident came to light around noon when hotel staff attempted to contact him for a scheduled checkout. He had been staying at the Royal Inn Hotel on Niladri Road, within the jurisdiction of the Electronic City police.

When staff received no response, they used a master key to enter the room and found him unresponsive. Emergency services were contacted immediately, but he was declared deceased upon arrival at the hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest the cause of death to be asphyxiation.

Authorities have stated that they are still investigating the circumstances leading to this tragic event. They plan to question his family, friends, and colleagues to gather more information.
